Spring Blog - March 2021

Hi everyone welcome to March! I hope my new blog finds you well. It seems with recent government guidelines there is HOPE at last with finally a LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL for all of us...

This March marks a whole year since sadly I was poorly with the Corona virus just before the first lockdown last March. What a journey this last year has been for me, at Paraphernalia I continue to work hard building and adding to my online social media platform, where with every new day I learn to do new things, like: creating new pictures, posts and videos. I've now become quite a keen photographer and I'm thinking of investing in a 'proper camera' for myself!

As we have a date of 12th April to reopen there's so much to do! Obviously we closed in December so anything and everything had to be changed around in the shop, closing in mid-winter and now we will open in mid-spring! That means lots of choosing, buying and stocking for the shop and getting it all ready for the 'Grand Opening'! I'm still thinking of changing the shop front colour slightly, I just have not had the time to think anymore than that, but I will!

It's been hard hard work creating and running a business in a new unknown way, harder work than ever, but challenge is healthy... I'm not gonna lie I have my down days, I'm sure like you all do throughout this past year, but my new saying is "I'm soldiering on" (and I will continue to do so!).
